Time of Pyramids | Dmitriy Pavlov
Perhaps the Pyramid Valleys in Egypt are one of those places that simply cannot be understood the first time. In any case, it was only after my third visit to these mysterious places that I began to sense a secret unfolding. Their Majesties the Pyramids are too different from almost everything that surrounds us in everyday life.
While my first trip to the Giza Valley was quite accidental and took place under the sign of absolute certainty that all the pyramids were tombs, the second, third, and fourth were undertaken quite deliberately, the fact is that the official version of the pyramids' origin, especially when viewed through the eyes of a technologist, truly is perceived as just that, a version, and far from the most consistent one at that. The number of unexplained questions turns out to be so great that one cannot help but feel not just suspicions, but absolute certainty: there is clearly something wrong with the official interpretation of the pyramids' history.
The desire to uncover, at any cost, if not the truth, then at least a plausible version, ultimately resulted in a series of creative expeditions, which, in addition to journalists and writers, included professional physicists and geophysicists. The primary focus of these expeditions was on collecting new facts that could shed light on the authorship, age, and purpose of the pyramids. Below, I will try to list our observations as impartially as possible, offering my own, perhaps far from ideal, interpretation.
